The short version: servers are provided as-is, nothing is backed up unless you pay for backups, we are not responsible if you lose data, payments are crypto-only and final, and you can't use the service for anything illegal or abusive.

1. Your server, your responsibility

Every server is a KVM virtual machine on hardware we operate. You get full root access and you are responsible for everything that runs on it, including security updates and its firewall.
Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty or uptime guarantee.

2. Data loss - we are not responsible

We do not back up your server. Disks can fail, nodes can die and mistakes happen. nekohost is not liable for any loss or corruption of data, for any reason.
Keep your own backups of anything you care about. The optional backup add-on ($1.99/week) and one-off backups ($0.99 each) are a convenience, not a guarantee - they're stored on our infrastructure and can fail too.
When a server expires and is deleted, or when you delete or reinstall it, its data is gone for good.

3. Mystery boxes

A box gives you one server picked at random from the servers in stock at that moment. Every possible server and its exact chance is shown on the box page before you buy.
The box price is calculated from the current stock and can change at any time. The price shown when you open the box is the price you pay.
Every box always contains a working server - if we can't deliver one, the full price goes back to your balance automatically.

4. Payments, renewals and expiry

We only accept cryptocurrency, processed by NOWPayments. Top-ups are credited as account balance once the payment is confirmed.
Balance is not withdrawable and purchases are final. Refunds are at our sole discretion and are paid as balance.
Servers run for the term shown on the box (usually 30 days) and renew from your balance if auto-renew is on. If there isn't enough balance the server is suspended at the end of the term and deleted 3 days later.

5. Acceptable use

Use your server for whatever you like - as long as it's legal and doesn't hurt anyone. Not allowed:

Anything illegal where you or we operate, including content that exploits minors.
Attacking other systems: DDoS, port/vuln scanning of networks you don't own, brute-forcing, botnets, malware or phishing.
Spam or bulk unsolicited email.
Activity that degrades the service for other customers (for example, hammering shared disks or saturating the network).

We may suspend or delete servers that break these rules, with or without notice and without refund. We cooperate with valid legal requests.
